Stadium Kitchen Upgrade Tender Opportunity

Bay Venues is seeking registrations of interest from experienced tenderers for the Stadium Kitchen Upgrade project at Mercury Baypark. This project will involve the comprehensive refit of the current commercial kitchen, including demolition, construction, and service installations. Close coordination with the nominated kitchen equipment supplier will be required to ensure seamless installation and commissioning.

Requirements for Tenderers

Tenderers should possess proven expertise in commercial kitchen refits. Specifically, they must have successfully completed a minimum of three kitchen upgrade or fitout projects, each valued between $500,000 and $1 million, within the past three years.

Mount Sports Centre Roof Replacement.

Bay Venues is the kaitiaki (guardian) of community facilities in Tauranga Moana, managing and maintaining sport, recreation, and event facilities on behalf of Tauranga City Council. As a leading provider of 24 event and community spaces, we are committed to maintaining our venues to the highest standards, ensuring a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for all visitors and staff.

This project offers a chance to lead the safe removal of asbestos and deliver a new, compliant roofing system for the Mount Sports Centre that will protect the building for years to come. The work will help ensure the centre remains a safe, weathertight, and accessible space for local sports, events, and recreation.

Building Warrant of Fitness

Bay Venues Ltd invites proposals from experienced and reputable service providers to tender for our Building Warrant of Fitness across multiple facilities. As a leading provider of event and community spaces, we are committed to maintaining our venues to the highest standards, ensuring a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for all visitors and staff.

We are seeking Registrations of Interest (ROI) from qualified and experienced Building Warrant of Fitness (BWOF) service providers to support the ongoing compliance and safety of our facilities. This ROI is the first step in identifying providers who can deliver inspection, maintenance, and reporting services in accordance with the Building Act 2004 and relevant compliance schedules.

The selected provider(s) will be responsible for:

• Conducting inspections of specified systems as per compliance schedules.

• Issuing / Checking Form 12A certificates for each system.

• Advising on any updates or amendments required to compliance schedules.

• Supporting annual BWOF submissions and renewals.

• Ensuring all documentation is accurate and submitted on time

This tender presents an excellent opportunity to collaborate with Bay Venues in maintaining and future-proofing our facilities across Tauranga.

BWOF compliance is essential to the effective operation of our facilities. Any instances of non-compliance or delays in meeting requirements may pose a significant risk to business continuity.
